Founded in 2017, Dad's Drivers is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing financial support for pancreatic cancer research and enriching the lives of Cancer Patients and their Families in Kansas City
On August 10, 2012 Mark Hurst was diagnosed with stage two pancreatic cancer. Only a few days later he began an extensive treatment plan filled with radiation, multiple chemotherapy cocktails, and the whipple procedure on December 19, 2012 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Mark has repeatedly demonstrated that he is a fighter throughout his journey.
Diagnosed at the young age of 37 with stage IV pancreatic cancer, Lisa's desire to fight this disease with everything she had was our inspiration to help those patients and families affected by pancreatic cancer. Throughout her journey, we witnessed firsthand, the unmet needs of those involved. Dad's Drivers is here to help with those needs, and to continue fighting for those who are battling this deadly disease.
